Great Room: Starting off in the great room, this centrally located space in this rustic luxury cabin features a decorative timber truss with a hand-hewn finish and a massive wood-burning fireplace with stonework that carries over onto the side wall. The stone complements the hand-hewn trim and whitewash ceiling finish. This luxury log house has a feature wall of windows that lets in plenty of natural light and provides lake views. The windows are finished in a bronze color that works nicely with the dark chocolate stain on the trim and the hickory flooring.
Dining Room: The dining area is connected to the great room and features a large black walnut table that can seat up to 12 people. The wood ties in perfectly with the hickory floor. A chandelier above the table adds to the elegant aesthetic of this luxury timber frame home.
Three-Season Porch: The three-season porch is located off this central space in this rustic log cabin. This space can be used almost year-round, as windows can be opened during summer and spring, and infrared heaters warm the space during the colder months.

The customers chose to use a chiseled tongue and groove wall finish, one of our proprietary textures. Half Bath: Located near the foyer is a beautiful half bathroom, which is ideal for guests. Elegant details like a vessel sink and a gorgeous vanity piece with an open shelf at the bottom were added in this space. An awning-style window allows light into the room while maintaining privacy.
First-Floor Master Suite: A private master suite is located at the corner of this luxury log home. Large windows provide views of the lake from two different directions. An 18-foot vaulted ceiling with beams and a rich, darker brown ceiling finish adds a sense of warmth and openness to the bedroom. The master bedroom also has patio doors that lead to an outdoor space where you can enjoy sunrises and sunsets. The hallway to the master bathroom has his and her closets on either side. In the spa-like bathroom, you'll find a his and her vanity, with a built-in makeup counter, deep drawers, and utility storage on top. This home was built to be the client's forever home, so a zero-entry tiled shower was designed, making it easy to walk in without having to step over a ledge.

It's centrally located, near the master suite and the stairs that lead up to the loft and guest bedrooms. This space has a textured glass door, plenty of cabinetry and counterspace, along with a utility sink, and a pedestal washer and dryer.

Upper Level of the Lake Log Home

The upstairs of this lake log cabin and timber frame home provides additional bedrooms, bathrooms, and a gathering space that overlooks the great room. The rustic timber staircase is quite the statement piece, with timber-worn railings and spindles, three hand-hewn stringers, four-by-12 treads, and eight-by-eight hand-hewn posts.

Loft: The loft features the same timber edge and spindles as the staircase and provides a view of the lake from above, and this space opens into the great room from above. A timber accent truss is pulled up so it doesn't obstruct the view. The loft also has a piano and a kitchenette, and there is plenty of space for playing games and reading.
Two Identical Guest Suites: On either side of the loft, you'll find a bedroom with its own private bathroom. Each bedroom has a vaulted ceiling with exquisite timber craftsmanship and ceiling fans. Dormers provide extra space, great for a sitting area or a desk. The bathrooms have hand-hewn shelving for extra storage. One bathroom has a tub and a shower unit, while the other has a tiled shower. One of the bedrooms has a door that leads to the unfinished space over the garage.

Lower Level of the Lakeside Log Cabin & Timber House

The finished lower level of this lake timber and log home adds more living space to this floor plan. The entire lower level has in-floor heat, and on one side, a walk-out wall provides access to the outdoor patio.

Family Room: Creative wall finishes, like the custom art piece on one of the walls, add to this space. The family room has a gas fireplace with a large stone chaise. Rustic details continue down here with a custom pool table, with a chiseled tongue and groove finish on the sides and rails. Arcade games and a dartboard made from old dock pieces can also be found in this basement. The ceiling has a darker tongue and groove finish similar to the one in the master bedroom.

Another sitting area with a fire pit is near the dock.
